January is Crime Stoppers Awareness Month
January is the month designated as “Crime Stoppers Month” – the month each program takes to publicly highlight their successes and thank their sponsors and supporters. It’s an opportunity to acknowledge the tremendous support of the community, Chatham-Kent Police and media in helping Crime Stoppers achieve the success that we have.
Crime of the Week
On December 30t, 2023 at approximately 1:30 p.m. officers attended the Talbot Trail area in Blenheim in response to a call of a break and enter. Officers learned that in the early morning hours, unknown suspect(s) entered a residence stealing over $2,000 in jewelry.

Sometime Friday evening on December 8th between 5:00 p.m. and Saturday morning December 9th at 10:00 a.m. unknown suspect(s) entered a residence on Colborne Street, Chatham.
